It's a cardboard jungle out there!

My humans are still making a chaos of my house.  There are piles of boxes everywhere and they are growing!  More and more of them.

Then suddenly I realised... they had made me a playground!
Somewhere to test my superb physical condition, somewhere to explore and hide, somewhere I can express my inner panther.

Here I am practicing my camouflage.  Can you see me?

Here some humans are talking about fish but I can't smell anything at all.

These boxes are really interesting so I have marked them all as mine, my humans will not move them now.

It's very kind of my humans to make all this for me, I don't know why they did it but it is nice to be appreciated.  About time too.

Envy is hard to live with

There I was, sitting in the road, looking lovely and enjoying the sun....

.....and what did I see?

This!  A Person of the Fur looking at me.

Obviously it was admiring me and so I headed over to see what it wanted.  I didn't mind it admiring me but I wanted to make sure it knew this was my street.

And suddenly....Treachery!  Out of the blue I'm attacked with no provocation! It must be jealous of the plush thickness of my fur.  I know my fur is lovely as my humans tell me it is every day.

but I am very brave and soon it is running home in disgrace.

I adopt a watchful position at the end of the pavement to make sure it stays where it should on its wall.  I am not shouting rude things at it, I want to but I am too dignified.

It's difficult being so lovely.

My home is a small territory.  I live in a terraced house in a traditional cobbled street.  I have to be careful on the street as lots of noisy smelly metal things drive very fast down it.

My territory also includes a place with lots of plants, they are interesting to sniff and often provide me with shade on a hot day.  Sometimes interesting furry, buzzy things fly around the plants but my humans tell me I'm not to touch them as they might sting me - I don't think that something that small could hurt me but I'm too dignified to chase something them.

My territory goes all the way across the street to the next alleyway and to number 12 where a nice man feeds me ham and lets me sleep by his fire when my humans have got too irritating to be around.

Of course other People live around the area too and I often have to explain to them where my territorial boundaries are.  This Person is particularly disrespectful and has even tried to sit on my windowsill.
Such rudeness!  Obviously I have had to speak with him about this. Hmmf!

Some odd things have been happening in the house recently.  Lots of boxes have been appearing but not for me to play in as they are full of stuff.  My humans have also been moving things around a lot and things are not where they should be - but at least my bed is still where it should be.

I've been voicing my disapproval and so far the results have been good - they gave me tuna fish yesterday.
Maybe I should tell them how I feel more often; I might get more treats.
